Kamran Riaz, MD, FACC
Dr. Riaz earned medical degrees from King Edward Medical College, University of Punjab in Pakistan. From there, he went on to serve as a staff physician at the Mayo Hospital in Pakistan and several hospitals throughout the United Kingdom where he received membership in the Royal College of Physicians in London.
Dr. Riaz then completed an internal medicine residency and cardiology fellowship at the Mid-America Heart Institute at the University of Missouri, Kansas City. He is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Diseases and Nuclear Cardiology. Dr. Riaz is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology as well as a Diplomate of the National Board of Echocardiography.
Along with his interest in echocardiography, nuclear cardiology and coronary CT angiography, Dr. Riaz also is active in the study of treatment methods for congestive heart failure. He is very involved in the ongoing research studies of congestive heart failure at The Dayton Heart Center and Dayton Heart Hospital.
