Gary J. Fishbein, MD, FACCe
Dr. Gary J. Fishbein's belief in preventative care is consistent with the philosophy of The Dayton Heart Center. He places special emphasis on good nutrition and physical fitness. Dr. Fishbein graduated cum laude from the University of Rochester, New York, and went on to earn a medical degree and a certificate of distinction in Internal Medicine from Hahnemann University School of Medicine in Pennsylvania.
After completing his residency in the Department of Internal Medicine at the University of California Irvine Medical Center, Dr. Fishbein completed fellowships in the Division of Cardiology at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center.
Dr. Fishbein is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and is board certified in Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology.
He is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at the Boonshoft School of Medicine at Wright State University.
In addition to Interventional Cardiology, he specializes in Peripheral Vascular Disease and Congestive Heart Failure, and is the medical director of The Dayton Heart Center's nationally recognized Clinical Research Division.
A devoted father of five, Dr. Fishbein has served on the Board of Directors of Temple Israel, supports the Boy Scouts of America and the Gem City Ballet Company.
